Must Have Styles for Spring

Spring has officially sprung, which is made very clear to me every single day when I wake up with a sinus headache and then spend the entire sneezing. Nothing like living in Ohio. But, beyond seasonal allergies, spring is the BEST. There’s nothing like the first few days of fresh air and sunshine and open windows after a long winter (at least when you live in the midwest). One thing that I really love about spring is the opportunity to do a closet clean out and swap those heave sweaters for floral dresses and pretty blouses. I’ve done a bit more shopping this spring than I anticipated, but honestly, it’s just SO REFRESHING to have so much more option in plus sizing than in the past. Eloquii has been killing it, and my ASOS addiction is going strong, AND Anthropologie dropped a new Plus Size line recently, which has been amazing for my closet but dangerous for my wallet. Here are some pieces i’ve recently purchased, or am planning on grabbing soon!

Like I mentioned before, the new plus line at Anthropologie is seriously killer. I ordered three pieces while they had a sale on sale recently, and . am so impressed with the quality and fit! These are items that have a bit of flair, but I know I will wear year after year.

I love a good floral, but am pretty picky about finding just the right one, so in the spring, I love to mix florals with other fun, happy patterns - think lots of polka dots and gingham!

I’m usually not one for trends (super wasteful, usually awful), but i’m admittedly loving the moment that statement bags and earrings are having lately. I’ve invested in a few new pieces like this fishnet bucket bag and rattan earrings, but mostly have been finding amazing second-hand or vintage gems (which is the way I prefer to indulge trends).
